022. Deck umbrella

Rain or shine, this umbrella will shelter you from very little of it and look adorable all the while!

There are two ways to construct this umbrella. The first and simplest is to use the single, semicircular pattern piece, which only has one point to solder for the cap of the umbrella. The second uses six separate pieces, which allows you to mix up different printed metals in the construction. Instructions for both are provided.

Also, this umbrella is shown in two different scales. 1:20.3 is the smaller of the two. Take your pick –- the steps are identical.
