We’ve been cranking away in our spare time for two years to create this website and all of its content, and we are super pumped to finally share it with the world! Now that we’ve got all the technical building-a-website nitty-gritty out of the way, we’re itching to get back into the workshop and start developing more sweet projects. Stay tuned, we’ve also got Halloween on the braaaaaiinsssss!

You have inspired me! Especially with the tin toys. What fun. We will get started saving our tin. Thank you!!

We commercially fish for wild salmon on Kodiak Island. This summer I started a web site and blog about living in a remote place, making due with materials on hand, and the nurturing aspects of the kitchen in the cabin.

We will use some of your ideas and I will link to you.
    Thank you.

You have been such an amazing inspiration that I now save the money to buy all necessary tools to start ” tinplate projects” myself ….. Believe me Marc, all my projects will smell like railroading : I plan a tinplate gondola first and than will go up to make a Boxcab loco to pull it. I downloaded a lot of tinplate railway models for Inspiration now. There will not be a copy of anything existing but I just like the tiplate railway style (I Own 6 gauge 1 tinplate locos until now)
Next stage will be making the plans/drawings.

    regards J. Buring
