Tinplate Girl is an ongoing project that was two years in the making. The idea is to disseminate information about the medium of tinplate (tin-can metal) and its potential as a craft / art / modeling medium, and to get people excited about this thing that we’re excited about.
Tinplate Girl is actually a collaborative endeavor between Marc (Tinplate Dad) and Adriane (Tinplate Girl). We each bring our own experience, ideas, and desires to the project. We hope that you enjoy and learn from what we’ve done here.
If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear from you. We’d also love to see what you are doing in tinplate, whether it’s one of our projects or something you’ve developed on your own. Don’t hesitate to drop us a note and send a picture or two.
